Gable Dan Steveson (born May 31, 2000) is an American professional wrestler and former amateur wrestler. He achieved considerable success in both disciplines.
Amateur Wrestling Career: Steveson gained prominence as an amateur wrestler, competing for the University of Minnesota. He won the 2020 Summer Olympics gold medal in the super heavyweight category (125 kg). He also won two NCAA Division I National Championships (2021 and 2022). His impressive amateur record made him a highly sought-after prospect.
WWE Career: After his Olympic triumph, Steveson signed with WWE in 2021. He was drafted to the Raw brand. He was later released from his contract in 2024.
NFL Tryouts: Following his WWE departure, Steveson expressed interest in pursuing a career in NFL and had tryouts.
Return to Amateur Wrestling and Olympics 2024: Steveson returned to amateur wrestling and is expected to compete in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
